AL RIYADH CLUB HISTORY

One of the 2024-25 Roshn Saudi League’s four capital clubs, Al Riyadh have plenty of experience in the top division having first competed there at the end of the 1980s.

However, following relegation in 2005, they did not return to the RSL until last season. 

Former AS Monaco, Parma and Inter Milan midfielder Sabri Lamouchi is Al Riyadh’s current manager. The club does boast players with RSL pedigree at other clubs, including local veterans Nawaf Al Abed and Yahya Al Shehri alongside Bernard Mensah, Toze and Faiz Selemani.
