Al Ettifaq

AL ETTIFAQ CLUB HISTORY

Situated on the East Coast, Al Ettifaq’s glory days were during the 1980s when they won two top-flight titles, including being Saudi Arabia’s first “invincibles” in 1983 under club hero and homegrown coach Khalil Al Zayani.

Their starriest name at present is club captain Georginio Wijnaldum, formerly of Liverpool, Paris Saint-Germain and AS Roma. They also feature the likes of French forward Moussa Dembele and former Leicester City and Everton winger Demarai Gray.
