Al Taawoun

AL TAAWOUN CLUB HISTORY

Al Taawoun are one of two clubs currently in the Roshn Saudi League who are based in Buraidah in the north-central part of the Kingdom.

They have competed in the top flight in consecutive seasons since 2010-11, with their highest finish third in the 2018-19 campaign. They are also one of a select group of Saudi clubs to have competed in the AFC Champions League knockout stages. 

Home to several Brazilians including goalkeeper Mailson, centre-back Andre Girotto and midfielder Flavio, Gambia international Musa Barrow, formerly of Serie A sides Atalanta and Bologna, plays up front for the club nicknamed the Wolves.
