AL OKHDOOD CLUB HISTORY

The league’s southernmost club, based in Najran, are contesting their second season in the Roshn Saudi League after just about surviving last term.

The club’s name is derived from that of an ancient region that translates literally to “The Trench”. 

Scottish Cup winner with Hearts, Portuguese Paulo Sergio is Al Okhdood’s current coach. His squad boasts the likes of Christian Bassogog and Ibrahima Kone, internationals at Cameroon and Mali, respectively.
