Al Hilal and Neymar part company

Brazil star Neymar has left Roshn Saudi League champions Al Hilal.

The Riyadh club confirmed the news early on Tuesday, saying in a statement that they had “agreed to terminate the player's contract by mutual consent".

Al Hilal added: “The club expresses its thanks and appreciation to Neymar for what he has provided throughout his career with Al Hilal, and wish the player success in his career.”

Signing for Al Hilal in August 2023, serious injury restricted Neymar to three RSL appearances. The 32-year-old is expected to return to Santos in his homeland, where he began his career.
