It’s down to the last eight at the UEFA European Championship Germany 2024, with seven Roshn Saudi League stars still vying for the continent’s premier prize.
In the first, mouth-watering quarter-final, three-time champions Spain take on hosts Germany in Stuttgart on Friday, with Al Nassr defender Aymeric Laporte likely to start is fourth successive match of the tournament. Laporte, who helped Al Nassr to a runner-up finish in his debut season in the Kingdom, was part of the Spanish side who swept away Georgia 4-1 in the last 16.

Also on Friday, two of the tournament favourites go head-to-head with high-profile RSL representatives on either side, when a Portugal team featuring Al Nassr captain Cristiano Ronaldo and Al Hilal title-winner Ruben Neves face off in Hamburg against France’s N’Golo Kante.

Then on Saturday, Al Ettifaq captain Georginio Wijnaldum will be part of the Netherlands squad who take on a Turkiye team riding high following their last-16 win against Austria. Al Ahli defender Merih Demiral got both goals in the 2-1 triumph in Leipzig, and now resumes the rivalry with Wijnaldum following their 2-2 draw on Matchweek 25 of the 2023-24 RSL.
