Some of the brightest talents in the Roshn Saudi League are gearing for a key milestone in their careers as they look to guide Saudi Arabia U23 to the Paris 2024 Olympics.
The young Green Falcons travel to Qatar for the AFC U23 Asian Cup as defending champions, having won the 2022 edition in Uzbekistan. The upcoming tournament, taking place from April 15 to May 3, comprises 16 teams divided into four groups, with the two finalists as well as the third-placed side qualifying to the Olympic Games later in the summer. Meanwhile, the fourth-placed team advance to the AFC-CAF play-off.
Led by local head coach Saad Al Shehri, Saudi Arabia are pitted in Group C alongside Iraq, Thailand and Tajikistan.
