Al Shabab have confirmed Vitor Pereira as their new manager after the Portuguese signed a deal with the Riyadh club until the end of the current Roshn Saudi League season.
Pereira, 55, becomes Al Shabab's third manager of the season, following on from Dutchman Marcel Keizer and former Liverpool defender Igor Biscan. Biscan left the club in late December.
Al Shabab currently sit 11th in the RSL after 19 rounds, ahead of the 2023-24 campaign's resumption on February 15.

A former midfielder, Pereira has enjoyed a nomadic managerial career, taking charge of clubs such as Fenerbahce, Olympiacos and most recently Brazilian giants Flamengo. He has previous experience of the RSL having managed Al Ahli to third place in the 2013-14 season.
The appointment of Pereira caps off a busy January for the White Lions, who last week announced the signing of experienced Croatian midfielder Ivan Rakitic from La Liga side Sevilla.
Pereira will now turn his attention to improving the fortunes of the six-time Saudi champions. Al Shabab return to RSL action on February 16, with an away assignment at fifth-placed Damac.
