Roshn Saudi League side Al Tai have appointed Uruguayan Leonardo Ramos as their new manager until the end of the 2023-24 season.
Ramos, who last managed Montevideo City Torque in his home country, has previous RSL experience having taken charge of Al Ettifaq in the 2018-19 campaign. However, he left his position after only 10 matches following a run of four successive defeats. His overall RSL record with the Dammam club read four wins, two draws and four losses.

At Al Tai, Ramos replaces Romanian Laurentiu Reghecampf. A former international midfielder with eight caps to his name, the 54-year-old previously managed South American heavyweights such as Uruguay duo Penarol and Danubio, and Ecuador’s Barcelona SC.
Currently, Al Tai languish in 17th place in the table, two points from safety and in the midst of a four-game winless run. The Ha'il club will need Ramos to hit the ground running if they are to escape relegation, with only seven matches of the season remaining.
The first challenge for the manager comes on Friday, with a trip to Al Riyadh in what will be viewed a relegation "six-pointer". Al Riyadh sit two points above in the standings, in 14th.
