Venues announced for RSL Matchweeks 1 and 2

The Saudi Pro League (SPL) Competitions Department announced on Sunday the host venues for the 2024-25 Roshn Saudi League Matchweeks 1 and 2.

Matchweek 1

Al Taawoun Club Stadium in Buraidah will host the first match of the new season when Al Taawoun welcome Al Fayha at 7:10pm on Thursday, August 22. Al Wehda then host Al Riyadh at King Abdulaziz Sports City in Mecca, and Al Nassr play Al Raed at Al Awwal Park.

The opening weekend continues on Friday, with Damac Club Stadium the host venue for Damac vs Al Khaleej, while Al Ahli welcome newly promoted Al Orobah to King Abdullah Sports City in Jeddah, and Al Qadsiah make their return to the top division at Prince Mohammed bin Fahd Stadium in Dammam against fellow Eastern Province side Al Fateh.

King Abdullah Sports City in Buraidah will be the host of Al Kholood’s first--ever RSL match, with the Qassim side welcoming Al Ittihad on Saturday, August 24. On the same day, defending champions Al Hilal travel to Najran to play Al Okhdood at Prince Hathloul Sports City, and Al Shabab Club Stadium hosts the clash between Al Shabab and Al Ettifaq.

Matchweek 2

Matchweek 2 of the competition gets under way at Al Fateh Club Stadium, with Al Fateh playing Al Ahli before Al Raed host Al Qadsiah at Al Raed Club Stadium in Buraidah. Al Fayha welcome Al Nassr to Prince Faisal bin Fahd Sports City Stadium.

On Wednesday, August 28, Al Ettifaq face Al Okhdood at Al Ettifaq Club Stadium in Dammam, Al Hilal take on Damac at Prince Faisal bin Fahd Sports City, and Al Wehda host Al Orobah at King Abdulaziz Sports City in Mecca.

The last day of Matchweek 2 sees action return to Prince Faisal bin Fahd Sports City, where Al Riyadh welcome Al Kholood. Thursday’s two late kick-offs see Al Khaleej play Al Shabab at Prince Mohammed bin Fahd Stadium in Dammam, and Al Ittihad hosting their first home game, against Al Taawoun, at King Abdullah Sports City in Jeddah.
