Al Hilal boss Jorge Jesus was named the 2023-24 Roshn Saudi League Manager of the Season, capping off an exceptional title win in which he led the Riyadh club to an unbeaten campaign.
The Portuguese had this season become the first coach in the competition’s history to win the RSL Manager of the Month award five consecutive times, picking up the honour in October, November, December, February and March. The RSL paused in January for the AFC Asian Cup and Africa Cup of Nations.
A former Benfica, Flamengo and Fenerbahce manager, Jesus had previously coached Al Hilal during the 2018-19 season, returning again in the summer of 2023 to produce a record-breaking title victory for the club.

Jesus’ men entered the Guinness World Records with a series of 34 wins in all competitions, overtaking Welsh club The News Saints’ winning streak of 27 games, in the 2016-17 season.
