The Saudi Pro League technical committee announced on Wednesday the winners of the Roshn Saudi League October awards.
The awards, presented by the league’s title sponsors, Roshn, the leading national real estate developer in Saudi Arabia, include: Player of the Month, Coach of the Month, Goalkeeper of the Month and Young Player of the Month, and are decided through a points system that combines technical evaluation by the five-member committee and fans voting through the official X (formerly Twitter) account of the league @SPL.
Al Hilal midfielder Sergej Milinkovic-Savic pipped Al Nassr’s Anderson Talisca, Damac’s Georges-Kevin N’Koudou and Al Fateh’s Lucas Zelarayan to the October Player of the Month award, the first accolade for the Serbian in his debut campaign in the RSL.

His club teammate Yassine Bono picked up the RSL Goalkeeper of the Month award in a week that saw him finish 13th in the Ballon d’Or rankings as well as earn a nomination for the CAF Player of the Year award. The Moroccan’s display in October, saw him keep two clean sheets out of three matches and concede just one goal, leading him to become the outright winner of the award on technical points without the need for votes.

Head coach Jorge Jesus completed Al Hilal’s trio of awards with the Coach of the Month award, with his side having won all three matches in October to continue their unbeaten start to the season and extend their lead at the top of the table. Jesus finished ahead of Al Fateh’s Slaven Bilic, with the two coaches going head-to-head on Friday.
Rounding off the awards was the Young Player of the Month prize which went to Al Fateh midfielder Abbas Al Hassan, who was voted the winner ahead of Al Khaleej’s Abdulelah Hawsawi and Al Okhdood’s Eid Al Muwallad.
