Al-Shabab open round 19 with beating Damac in thrilling encounter



Al-Shabab beat Damac 3-2, on Thursday, in the opening game of round 19 of Prince Mohamed Bin Salman Professionals Cup League.

Sebestian Junior broke the deadlock for Al-Shabab in the 17th minute, via a penalty kick, before Damac leveled the result in the 45+6th minute via a free kick converted by Rafael Costa.

Damac got the lead in the 56th minute, via Emilio Zylaya, with a left-footed shot from inside the penalty area, then Abdalla Al-Zori made it 2-2 with a left-footed shot in the 75th minute, before Christan Guanca netted the winning goal three minutes before the final whistle.

Abdalla Al-Shamekh from Al-Shabab was sent off in the 50th minute.

Al-Shabab reached 28 points in the 8th spot, while Damac remained with 14 points in the 14th place.
