Matchweeks are usually staged across three days, the majority of which run from Thursday to Saturday to coincide with the Saudi weekend (Friday and Saturday).

The most obvious starting point is deciding which clubs, matches - or even players - you want to see up close.

Is it Cristiano Ronaldo, Joao Felix, Ruben Neves, Ollie Watkins, Edouard Mendy or Ivan Toney? Or Nacho, Julian Quinones, Darwin Nunez? Georginio Wijnaldum or Alexandre Lacazette? The list of international stars goes on and on.

Typically, tickets start from SAR10 (US$2.70) - 30 percent of stadium seats are capped at SAR30 or less - making attending affordable for solo travellers, groups or football-obsessed families.

The 18 clubs competing in the 2026-27 RSL are spread across 12 cities throughout the Kingdom.

Most overseas fans will fly into Riyadh - home to Al Hilal, Al Nassr, Al Shabab, Al Riyadh and Diriyah Club - or Jeddah, where you’ll find Al Ittihad and Al Ahli. Other regions with international airports include:

• Dammam (DMM): Al Ettifaq, Al Khaleej, Al Qadsiah and Al Fateh
• Qassim (ELQ): Al Taawoun, Al Kholood, Al Hazem, Al Fayha and Al Faisaly
• Tabuk (TUU): NEOM SC
• Abha (AHB): Abha

For matches in Riyadh, the Metro provides convenient stadium access. Al Nassr’s Al Awwal Park is served by King Saud University Station (Red Line), with shuttle buses to the stadium. Al Shabab Club Stadium is a short walk from Dr Sulaiman Al Habib Station (Blue Line), while Prince Faisal bin Fahd Sports City is served by Al Malaz Station (Orange Line).

Saudi Arabia’s transport network is rapidly developing, with air, rail and road options connecting all RSL destinations.

By Air

Approximate flight times from Riyadh: Jeddah (1hr 50), Dammam (1hr 10), Qassim (1hr 5), Abha (1hr 40), Tabuk (2hr 5).

From Jeddah: Riyadh (1hr 50), Dammam (2hr 5), Qassim (1hr 30), Abha (1hr 20), Tabuk (1hr 35).

By Rail

Saudi Arabian Railways (SAR) connects Riyadh with several RSL cities. The North Train serves Al Majma’ah and Qassim, while the East Train connects Riyadh with Hofuf in Al Ahsa and Dammam. Dammam Train Station is only a 15-minute walk from Prince Mohammed bin Fahd Sports City.

By Road

Riyadh, Jeddah and Dammam have extensive bus networks connecting key areas, including stadiums. Taxis are widely available, while Uber and Careem provide convenient app-based transport throughout major cities.

Currency - The currency used is the Saudi Riyal (SAR). One Riyal is equivalent to US$0.27. ATM machines accept major bank cards, while card transactions can also be used.

Visa - If travelling from outside Saudi Arabia, you can apply online for an e-visa before you travel. Along with your passport, you'll need to present your e-visa upon arrival. For more details, click HERE.

Electrical Devices - Saudi Arabia uses a three-pronged plug socket, so those travelling from the UK will not need to bring plug adapters.

Can’t make it to the Kingdom? Never fear, since RSL action is available to fans across the world through an extensive network of international broadcast partners. 

Depending on your location, you can follow the league through leading broadcasters including FOX throughout much of the Americas, ESPN in Africa, DAZN in selected European markets and Australia, Movistar+ in Spain, Okko in Russia, FanCode across India and SPOTV through much of East and Southeast Asia.

Fans in Saudi Arabia and across the MENA region can watch exclusively on Thmanyah, while the RSL is also available directly via SPL-owned channels in 16 selected international markets, including the United Kingdom, Canada and Nordics, among others.
